We are the only breeder in Austria breeding Cavalier King Charles Spaniels in all colours. 😊

We live in beautiful Upper Austria, between Salzburg and Braunau, close to the German border and Burghausen, where we run a small, loving, family-based Cavalier King Charles Spaniel breeding programme.

We place particular emphasis on excellent living conditions, preserving and improving the health of this wonderful breed, and creating happy, lasting relationships between dogs and their families.

All of our dogs are unique and cherished members of our family who live together with us in our home and garden.

We do not offer “cheap puppies” – quality, health and responsible breeding always come first.

Our Cavaliers are examined and genetically tested for all relevant hereditary diseases associated with the breed.

We deliberately breed Cavaliers with beautiful longer noses , well-developed heads and a slightly larger build than the traditional breed standard. Careful breeding plans and diverse bloodlines – including Russian, American, German, Italian and Hungarian lines – form the foundation of our efforts to breed healthy, happy and well-balanced Cavaliers.

Every little Villa Kunterbunt puppy grows up with plenty of love, time, attention and patience during those important first weeks of life.

All of our dogs and puppies are fed a BARF diet (Biologically Appropriate Raw Food) as well as high-quality food from Reico.

Naturally, we also have professional training and extensive knowledge in canine nutrition. We are always happy to share our experience and can recommend specialised retailers who provide professional nutritional advice.

A high-quality puppy starter package

Every puppy leaves for their new family with a carefully prepared starter package including:

  • Harness and lead
  • ToysInformation folder
  • Pedigree certificate
  • Health certificate
  • EU Pet Passport

Because it is extremely important to us that every puppy from our breeding programme finds the best possible home, getting to know future families personally is very important to us.

Before deciding to welcome a puppy into your family, we kindly ask you to consider whether your current lifestyle is suitable for a four-legged companion – including your living situation, financial circumstances, holiday arrangements and the time available to care for your dog.

We are, of course, happy to provide information by telephone about ourselves, our breeding programme and this wonderful breed before you visit us.

We cooperate closely with other breeders who share the same goals and values as we do as part of our breeder community and network.

Breeding prices are available upon request.

Exporting our puppies to other EU countries and non-EU countries – for example Germany, Switzerland or Italy – is no problem for us. We will be happy to advise you on all the necessary requirements and procedures.
